Calculators and tools — quick calculations for fire protection

In this section, we collect practical tools for working in the fire protection industry — tools that help you quickly calculate parameters, prepare a PDF report, and verify basic requirements even before an inspection, acceptance, or audit. Everything is simple, clear, and "live."

How to use (in 60 seconds)

The principle is always the same—you select the type, enter the data, and receive the result + report.

1

Select a tool for the topic

E.g., hydrants (capacity and pressure), measures/installations (conversions and thresholds), reports for documentation.

2

Enter measurement/design data

You enter values from measurements, reports, or design assumptions—the result is updated immediately.

3

Read the result and status

You receive a clear message (e.g., meets/does not meet) and a hint on what to check next.

4

Generate report to PDF / to email

Copy the report to your email or print it to PDF — useful for documentation, acceptance, and inspection.

Tip: if you have data from several zones/sections, count them separately (separate reports) to make the documentation clear.

What you gain with tools

Calculators are no substitute for review—but they greatly shorten the path to decision-making and organize data before action.

  • Quick verification: you calculate the parameters immediately, without Excel and without "guessing" from memory.

  • Better documentation: report to PDF or email—ready to attach to minutes and agreements.

  • Fewer errors: tools monitor units and calculation logic, making it easier to spot mistakes in data.

  • Faster service/collection: you have organized numbers and conclusions — it is easier to pass inspections or audits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the tools for "technicians" or for investors?
For both. The technician will use them for quick calculations and reports, and the investor/manager will receive a clear result and summary in PDF format.
Can the report be attached to the acceptance documentation?
Yes—the report is a convenient attachment to agreements and correspondence. If you need a "target" protocol for a standard/PSP, we will prepare it as part of our service.
Are the results legally binding?
These are auxiliary tools. The final assessment depends on the documentation, the condition of the facility, and current requirements. If in doubt, you can request verification from Rutpoż.
How to create a PDF?
In the tool, select "Print" → in the print window, set "Save as PDF."

FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Fire Protection System Inspections and Servicing

In accordance with regulations and manufacturer documentation, inspections are conducted at weekly, monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual intervals – but no less frequently than once a year. The specific frequency depends on the equipment type and applicable standard requirements.

While the law does not specify a single 'concrete license', inspections should be conducted by individuals possessing technical knowledge and training from manufacturers or industry institutions. RUTPOż employs technicians who have completed authorization training and fire protection courses.

Yes – most vehicles must be equipped with a fire extinguisher placed in an easily accessible location. This applies to, among others, passenger cars, taxis, buses, and trucks. Motorcycles, for example, are exempt.

Following each visit, we issue an inspection protocol, an entry in the facility logbook, and – if necessary – a list of recommendations and defects requiring rectification. This ensures you have comprehensive documentation for inspections by the State Fire Service (PSP) or your insurer.

Yes. We maintain a record of equipment and deadlines, and we contact clients in advance of the next inspection to schedule a convenient appointment and prevent any lapses in document validity.

We commence with an initial site audit and documentation review. Based on this, we prepare a proposed action plan, an inspection schedule, and a quotation. We are also able to assume responsibility for facility management mid-year.

We execute projects across multiple locations throughout Poland. For larger facilities and networks, we establish a customized scope and schedule for site visits.

Yes. We perform the requisite inspections, organize fire protection documentation, identify any deficiencies, and can accompany you during inspections to clarify technical issues on-site.
